Neelu

Neelu – the first woman with whom we started our Pune HTHTF center. Neelu is dynamic, socially active and smart. She heads the women’s support group in her area. She used to work at billing and sales at a departmental store, and after having children she took to household work, as having a full day job was tough due to lack of childcare options. Neelu is one of the most cheerful people who have been with us. Neelu has been with us in all our early days get the bio enzyme perfect trials, and in our first set of b2b orders. Her never say never attitude, idea-springing, and self-reliance have always inspired us. Thank you Neelu for being our initial support pillar! You rock!

Valli

Our first impression of Valli was a tigress, for that’s how she behaved and dealt with everyone who came her way. Raising her three daughters single-handedly, while doing monthly or bi-monthly conference calls with her husband stuck in Saudi half a world away, Valli was and will always be our fighter-woman. I have seen her deal with hundreds of problems, many of which she thinks are ‘jujubes’, and some of which she allocates the status of ‘now that’s a real problem’. In either case, she is always loaded, ready to fire and raring to go. She has given many ideas on how we could possibly make our products better, and her ability to think on her feet is the one thing that will definitely take her where she is headed. Thank you Valli for pushing us to push ourselves through your ‘no-matter-what-show-up’ attitude.

Basanti

Basanti is mother to a little girl, who is the center of her universe. She is the other name of efficiency. Her productivity tops the charts of all those we have worked with, and there is not a single time when we have missed orders or delayed deliveries. She is the perfect example of how one could possibly manage work and baby. While she is gone for most of the day out at our unit, she also does a few odd cooking jobs that fuel her income. She handles the production, does stock counts, suggests product and packaging improvements and even office enhancements. She hails from Nepal and is committed to the core. The one thing she finds tough is sticking the labels straight inside boxes. Maybe because she always pushes herself to think out of the box!

Apart from these above women who constitute our core, we encourage women who work as house help to come and work with us for a flexible number of hours daily that suits their schedule. These women comprise our floating team. Our core team trains our floating team and makes sure they are upto date with our standard operating procedures and quality standards
